Google always ahead in protecting copyrights and providing more rights to free users and sharing information.  Usually bloggers copy stuff from here and there and paste in their blog without even mentioning the credits. If you know who the copyright owner is, you may contact the owner directly. If you are not certain about the ownership or have other related questions, you may wish to request that the Copyright Office conduct a search of its records or you may search yourself.I have received a notification, which I believe is very important to share with all of you. Lets hear it in the same words from Google.

In keeping with Google’s public commitment to make copyright work better online, our team has been working on improving the copyright environment for bloggers and copyright owners alike. As access to the web grows, bringing new content and services online, it becomes even more important to ensure the rights of everyone involved are protected and understood. To that end, we’re happy today to announce the release of two significant improvements to Blogger’s copyright handling toolkit:
1.)  Streamlined submission tools for rightsholders.

Working alongside industry representatives, we’ve built a better submission and handling system for our high-volume DMCA takedown submitters that simplifies the reporting process and reduces our average response time to less than 24 hours.
2.)  Streamlined counter-notice tools for users.

Built right into the dashboard, Blogger now offers a simple way to counter-notify incoming DMCA takedown notices to blog authors who believe their content was improperly targeted for removal. This will initially be available for users receiving notices from our high-volume submitters, though we have plans to expand this to other notices down the road.

In addition, to ensure transparency around the entire system, we’ll continue to forward all DMCA notices (as well as counter-notices) to theChilling Effects cease & desist clearinghouse where they’ll be available for public searching.
As a refresher, here is a recap of how our DMCA removals procedure works today, factoring in these two updates we’ve just announced:

  1. A blogger (let’s call him Joe Blogger) decides to post a link on his blog to a downloadable copy of Album X.
  2. The rightsholder believes the link leads to an unauthorized, infringing copy of Album X and submits a takedown notice for that specific post.
  3. The DMCA takedown notice is processed by the Blogger Team, and if determined to be a valid complaint, the post in question isreverted to draft, Joe Blogger is notified, and a copy of the complaint is sent to Chilling Effects.
  4. At this point, Joe Blogger has the right to file a counter-notice and request the post be restored if he believes the takedown was improper. He may also edit the post to remove the allegedly infringing content himself.
  5. If Joe Blogger files a counter-notice, notification will be sent to the rightsholder as well as to Chilling Effects, and after ten business days the post will be restored if the rightsholder decides not to pursue further action.
  6. Rightsholders may pursue further legal action if they deem the counter-notice sent by the user to be invalid or erroneous.

These updates are the most recent among the copyright-related improvements our team has implemented over the last two years, all intended to strike a responsible balance between the needs of copyright owners and bloggers.”

After the tintinabulation by successful social networking and post submission services, the theory of survival of a blogger has been under constant revolution. Content is not the King. Instead of that, Link is the King. You may wonder how effectively I can prove this. Recently I saw a blog with copied stuff from different blogs and have a PageRank of 4.I was shocked seeing this, because it was against all my concepts of Content building. When I contacted that blogger, she explained about her natural way to link posts and how she overcome total links to specific post relatively to the original stuff. While thinking about the content, next question came to mind was about Templates.

Choose paid templates or Free Templates

There is nothing much to think. Choose free templates. Why? Two simple reasons. One is to reduce your cost in making a blog. Second one is that there is not much difference in paid template or free template from the angle of a Search Engine Bot.

Points to consider while selecting a Free Template

Check whether the Free Template delays your blog’s downloading time.

Check whether there is any hidden code included, that may display some unusual advertisements.

Check for links form that Template to any other website. There is nothing wrong in keeping a credit link of the original author.

Try to learn some HTML, then you can customize the Free Template and give a new look to it. Change the header image of your blog and make it in your own style.

Most of the Free Template offering sites are providing tips to edit, customize and to trouble shoot. Read it well before you install a Free Template.

Classic example of Free Templates is the one that is providing by Google Blogger. You can customize your blogs Template from your Dashboard as the way you wish.

So, don't waste money. If you have any doubt in fixing a Free Template, please feel free to ask me.

Many bloggers email me about the ways to increase the Adsense revenue. As per my experience, Adsense is the best source to create income from blogging and revenue sharing. After trying many other programs, now I am quite happy with Adsense. Initially, the income was very less. But after gaining PR3 and strong support from Google Search Engine, the income increased substantially. The income from Adsense for last month, is given below. I am not claiming that the amount shown below is a high level alternate income. But it is definitely a support to my charity works generated from seven posts per month and some revenue sharing.

 1. Increase Traffic: More traffic gives more clicks, that may produce more revenue from Adsense. So increase traffic to your website by

2. Select best subject for the blog : The subject or niche of the blog must be as popular as possible. Select the niche with high number of Advertisers available.

3. Best Format ad unit of Adsense: My suggestion is skyscrapers, banners or Text/link units in prime areas like header, sidebar etc. Link units can be incorporated where you provide some links related to your blog.

4. Location of ad unit: My opinion is that, the best location of an Adsense ad unit is on the header portion of the blog. Then left or right sidebars. Next preferred location is inside post or below post. Link units can be fixed anywhere.

5. Good Design to attract visitors: Text units will provide 3 or 5 ads at a time in the same ad unit, which have an increased probability of click by visitors to any one of them. Banner or skyscraper will display only one ad at a time, but are more attractive to get the immediate attention by a visitor. Link units  are relatively less productive.

6. Use Adsense sharing sites: There are many websites, approved by Google Adsense to share the revenue of your Adsense account. Simply provide your Adsense Id and let them bring the visitors. For example: Indyarocks

7. Choose the best Language: Depend upon your targeted audience and country, select the language. This may give some localized advertisements, which is having pretty high rates.
