Google Adsense has updated their policies and bloggers or webmasters who places Adsense ads on their websites is required to have a “Privacy Policy” page. According to Google Adsense policy, AdSense publishers must have and abide by a privacy policy that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users' browsers, or using web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving on your website.

fghf This “Privacy Policy” should contain the following information

  • Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies in connection with your browser to serve ads on your site.
  • Google's use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie. If you are not opting out of third-party ad serving, the cookies of other third-party vendors may also be used to serve ads on your site, and this also should be disclosed in your privacy policy.

Just see what Google says about this policy

"You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your user’s browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management."

For further understanding :

Here is a quick easy way to create a “Privacy Policy “ page for your blog or website.

Privacy policy is a very important and a "must have" on your website, specially if you are running AdSense. This should be taken seriously as I had a friend who got banned from the program for not having it. Good call.
