HOW TO KNOW FEED ADDRESS OF YOUR BLOG

Many bloggers asking me about the Feed address of their own blog. Most of them have trouble in configuring their blog in Feedburner and in submitting a sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools and Yahoo Submit URL. Here in this post, I would like to explain how to identify the Feed address of a blog. Veteran bloggers- kindly excuse me, this post targeting Holy blogging beginners.

Simple way to know the feed address

I will explain with an example of this blog. The below given four URL represent the standard feed address of our blog.

http://businessvartha.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

http://businessvartha.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss

http://businessvartha.blogspot.com/atom.xml

http://businessvartha.blogspot.com/rss.xml

You may change the portion “businessvartha.blogspot.com” with the URL of your blog. If you have registered a domain name, please change this to the main page URL.

Care to be taken while submitting Sitemap:

While submitting sitemap, Google, yahoo and MSN ask for the feed URL of your blog. It is always better that you provide, any one of the below given Feeds.
