GOOGLE INDIA DOODLES CONTEST 2010 FOR STUDENTS

Have you ever noticed Google Doodles, figured with fabulous designs and colors? In all previous special years and occasions, Google released fantastic doodles that have filled the mind of all viewers with enriched mood of seasons. Doodles are now a days considered as a promo cum greeting method for many corporate giants. This way of delighting their logo or trademark has become popular among many multinational companies. In this post we would like to introduce you about a contest organized by Google.

Doodle 4 Google 2009Google calling all young doodlers in India to draw their doodle based on the theme “My Dream for India”. The basic idea of the Doodle theme is that a futuristic imagination about how India will be after 20 years based on cleanliness, greenery, advanced technology, economy and infrastructure .

Any student between class 1 and 10 from any school in India can participate. All you have to do is register the name and then follow the instructions. The top doodles in India will finally enter an online vote on this Doodle 4 Google site. Schools can also submit all their doodles together.

Doodle Submission Deadline:
25th September 2010

Finalists Announced:
25th October 2010

Online Public Vote (India votes for their favorite doodles)
October 25th 2010 - November 5th 2010

Awards Ceremony and National Winner Announced
Early November 2010

  1. Register the participating student in this link. Then review and download the doodle material. Then follow the instructions on designing the Doodle.
  2. After finishing the preparation of Doodle,  submit it.
  3. Read and understand the Terms & Conditions

For your information: The first edition of Doodle4Google India was held last year. The theme for last year’s contest was ‘My India’. and the winner was, Puru Pratap Singh, a 4th standard student from Gurgaon.
